Question: "how do you recognize a foreign visitor in an Sydney train?" The foreigner sits face to face with the rest of the passengers in the carriage. That was us. I only found out late in the journey that you can change the back of the seat according the direction you are travelling in. The lady opposite though it was easier on the knees if you changed the back of the seat.
We have made a tour "hop on and off" of the city. You get to know the place and its easier on your feet. Route: Circular Quay, CBD (Central Business District), Kings Cross, Woolloomooloo, Mcquarie Street, Central Station, Harbourside, Darling Harbour.
Eine gute Sicht auf die Stadt bietet der Sydney Tower. Für mutige besteht die Möglichkeit draussen einen Rundgang zu abolvieren. Als nicht höhenfester Berggänger habe ich das bleiben lassen.
