Weather: still warm and humid, but really raining (acc. to taxi driver who has been in Cairns for 18 years "the worst rain he has seen, especially for such a long period" This was a day lost. Leaving early and arriving late.

However, we enjoyed many old memories seeing your pictures of Sidney, Cairns, Table Lands, Kuranda and the Barrier Reef. We'll be strangers to New Zealand, though.
