With train & bus to Bondi Beach. To our surprise, the weather at Bondi Beach was brightening up and quite sunny and warm. The Bondi neighbourhood seems to have seen better days. It all looked a little delapidated.. We actually preferred Manley. Maybe the waves are better for the surfers.
Walking along the cliff edge shows the vegetation and some interesting small crawleys can detected in the shrubs. The view from the water front homes must be a dream. I guess they don't see it, like we don't see the mountains on a daily routine.
Bondi Beach est le centre du surf à Sydney. Les week-end des milliers de gent se retrouvent à la plage. Il y a des années il y avait un alarm et apparemment il y en avait env. 35000 personnes sur place.
Der Häusermarkt im Südosten von Sydney - d.h. Bondi Beach - ist heutzutage nicht mehr so lukrativ. Die Prioritäten haben sich geändert. Die Australier haben die gleichen Sprachsorgen wie wir. Australien ist Mulit-Kulti mit einem grossen Anteil von Chinesen. Man hat fast das Gefühl, dass wir hier in Asien sein könnten. Es geht in den Schulen drum die verschiedenen Sprachen unter einen Hut zu bringen.

Le zoo ne valait pas les 30 AUD par personne (prix pour les vieux et prix pour le jeune mari.
Der Zoo ist verhältnismassig klein. Die Gehege viel zu klein für all die Viecher. Die Schimpanzen z.B. hatten nur ein paar ausgetrocknete Baumstämme und ein paar Seile zum rumtollen. KEIN Baum in Sprungdistanz.
