Saturday evening's at Darling Harbour with well orchestrated fireworks attrackted a lot of tourists. Finding a place to eat decent food took a while, but Christine got her favorite place to watch the display.

Ferry to Manly takes about 35 minutes. Reward: lovely beach. Shopping is nothing to rave about. Either very expensive or just the opposite.

Having a train, bus and ferry ticket for the duration of your stay lets you travel in the greater Sydney area. Costs not exagerated, actually reasonable.

Ein ganz normales Billet für die Dauer des Aufenthaltes zur Nutzung von Bus, Fähren und Eisenbahn machen das Rumreisen im Grossraum Sydney sehr einfach. Für den Zutritt und den Ausgang wird das Billet durch den Automaten geschoben und schon gehts los.
Da kann man ja fast neidisch werden, bei diesem schönen wetter.Vor 2 Tagen war es fast Frühling heute hats geschneit. Alles ist weiss überzuckert,es hält hoffentlich auch nicht allzulange.
