22.2.2011 Sydney to Cairns with early bird flight

Weather: 31°C and humid, sunny
this was the 1st glass, still sober

Cairns Hafen/port

The advantage of travelling early or late is to have a whole day at your disposal. But the downside is the missing rest time (some of us have not fully adjusted yet).

The Sikh taxi driver had problems to find our hotel and we had difficulties to understand him. But in the end we got there. One block off the Esplanade.

Had a good walk around the block in the heat. Feels like Texas or South Carolina in summer, we felt at home immediately.

Tonite we have had a quiet dinner with some white NZL wine. Have been told to drink white NZL wine and red AUS wine.
