Weather: sunny and warm, Kangaroo Island windy and more temperate

Adelaide offers loads of activities. We have chosen to visit their beach Glenelg and follow some walking trails. Glenelg is sandy beach and offers clean water. Just behind are fast food and souvenirs – what a shame to spoil such a nice part of town. The historical walking trails are covering the whole city center and North Adelaide. There are still many historical buildings in good condition, their use slightly modified from their original purpose. The main industries are automotive and household appliacies.

On Wednesday we enjoyed a long but interesting day on Kangaroo Island. With the bus we set off to Cape Jervis – right in the South of the Peninsula. Kangaroo Island is the 3rd largest Australian island (Tasmania, Melville). The ferry took us across to Penneshaw, then with the bus to visit the main sights (155 km long and 55 km wide). Back to the city at 2230h.
