Weather: sunny when we got up, but it was misty in the Blue Mountains. Temperature ok.

Today was supposed to be an easy day walking in the Blue Mountains around Katooma. But the weather goods had other plans. As you can see from the photographs it was misty and hardly any clear views. I think we caught the best moments today. I am sure it would have been a super day if we would have had blue skies. So we cut the day short.



Newcastle was advertized as the place Sidney came the week-end. We didn't think much of it and went directly to the Hunter Valley region.

Die Sitzbank könnte man vor jeder Boutique in Katooma und Leura stehen. Diese beiden Orte sind sehr Tourismus orientiert. Man könnte fast sagen - zuviel Tourismus. Die Einheimischen leben in den Aussenbezirken - schöne Villen zwischen 500'000 und 1.3 Mio AU$. Diese beiden Orte sind im Einflussbereich von Sydney. Nur ca. 1.5 Std vom Zentrum, ideal fürs Wochenene.
